Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Pasta and Sauce
  • Linguine pasta Use according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to low, and add garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese, and mix well. Add butter and let it melt.
  4. Toss the cooked linguine in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is cooked thoroughly to avoid any food safety issues. Adjust the level of garlic based on your preference—feel free to add more if you love that flavor! For a richer sauce, use more Parmesan cheese. You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different variation.
