Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Spaghetti
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, brown the meatballs over medium heat until cooked through.
  2. In a large baking dish, layer the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, and meatballs.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can assemble this dish ahead of time and store in the refrigerator. Consider adding vegetables for extra nutrition. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
