Steaks
  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks Juicy and flavorful
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Essentials
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking steaks
  • 2 tablespoons butter For the sauce
Pasta
  • 8 ounces pasta (like fettuccine or spaghetti) Use your choice of pasta
Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream For creamy texture
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with other hard cheeses
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steaks
  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side (or until desired doneness).
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth.
Cooking Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain and add pasta to the skillet with the creamy garlic sauce, tossing to coat.
Serving
  1. Slice the rested steaks and serve on top of the creamy garlic pasta, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with a salad or steamed vegetables. A glass of red wine pairs well.
