Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry Base
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
Cream Filling
  • 1 cup heavy cream Make sure it's cold for better whipping.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Jam and Garnish
  • 1 cup jam (your choice) Popular choices are raspberry, strawberry, or apricot.
  • Fresh berries for garnish (optional) Use as desired, for a nice presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangular shapes.
  2. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool.
Whipping Cream
  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Assembly
  1. Once the pastry is cooled, slice them in half horizontally.
  2. Layer cream and jam between the halves and on top.
  3. Garnish with fresh berries if desired. Serve chilled.

Notes

For best results, ensure the heavy cream is cold before whipping. You can add layers of fruit, experiment with different jam flavors, and try various toppings for variation. Refrigerate leftovers covered for up to 2 days.
