- Add eggs, yeast mixture, and softened butter to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1-2 hours).
Baking
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
- Arrange the balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Best served warm; can be spread with butter, jam, or honey. Pairs well with soups and salads, or can be used for sliders. To store, keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
