  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni Cook according to package instructions
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar or your choice) Use your favorite cheese for customization
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Italian-seasoned bread crumbs can be used for flavor
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked macaroni, cheese, milk, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be served on its own or with a side salad for a complete meal. Pairs well with garlic bread or steamed vegetables.
