Preparation
- Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks of your desired length.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
- Dip each cheese stick first into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, then roll it in breadcrumbs.
- For a thicker coating, repeat the process by dipping back into the egg mixture and breadcrumbs.
Frying
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in the hot oil for about 2–3 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serving
- Serve hot and enjoy with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
If you have leftovers, let the mozzarella sticks cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last up to 3 days. Reheat them in an oven or air fryer to restore their crispiness.
