Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste for stronger flavor
Optional Garnish
  • to taste Chopped parsley Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Gradually add the water and olive oil, stirring until a liquid dough forms.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Pour in the liquid dough to form flatbreads, cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden.
  3. In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle minced garlic on top and let it cook through.
  4. Remove from the skillet, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure to mix the ingredients well to create a smooth liquid dough. Don’t overcrowd the skillet; cook one or two flatbreads at a time for best results. You can customize by adding herbs like rosemary or thyme.
