Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, sugar, and vanilla extract with a little bit of milk to create a smooth paste.
  3. Gradually add this mixture to the heated milk, stirring continuously until it thickens.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and allow it to cool completely.
  5. Once set, cut into squares or rectangles.
Frying
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the pieces of milk until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
