Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese Ensure it is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup crab meat Imitation crab can also be used as a substitute.
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Wrappers and Oil
  • 1 package wonton wrappers Do not overfill to avoid breaking.
  • Oil for frying Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper.
  3. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper, then fold over to form a triangle, pressing to seal.
Cooking
  1. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

Best served hot and fresh. You can accompany with sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, or an Asian-style dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat using an oven or air fryer to maintain crunchiness. Consider adding minced garlic or herbs for variation.
