  • 200 g cream cheese, softened Make sure it is softened to room temperature.
  • 50 g unsalted butter, softened Make sure it is softened to room temperature.
  • 100 ml milk
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 70 g granulated sugar
  • 40 g cake flour
  • 10 g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Grease and line a cake pan.
  2. In a blender, combine cream cheese, butter, milk, and egg yolks. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add sugar, cake flour, cornstarch, and vanilla extract to the mixture and blend until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until no streaks remain.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

For serving, Cloud Cake can be enjoyed plain or with powdered sugar, fruit sauce, fresh fruit, or whipped cream. To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for about a week. For best flavor, let it come to room temperature before serving. Make sure to fold in the egg whites gently to maintain a light and airy batter.
