  • 1 whole Whole chicken or chicken pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Your favorite chicken spice Customize with your preferred spice blend.
  • 1/4 cup Chutney (optional) Adds flavor; can be omitted.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For marinating and moisture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the chicken overnight with the chicken spice, chutney, and olive oil to help the flavors seep into the meat.
  2. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
  3. Place the marinated chicken in a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  2. Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, consider broiling the chicken for a few minutes after baking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
