Hawaiian pineapple cake

 






Here’s a simple and delicious Hawaiian Pineapple Cake recipe that’s moist, tropical, and easy to make!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups (400g) sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can (20 oz / 565g) crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Frosting (Optional – Cream Cheese Frosting):

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (115g) butter, softened
  • 2 cups (240g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Make the Batter

    • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
    • Add eggs, crushed pineapple (with juice), and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  3. Bake

    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
    • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    • Let cool completely before frosting.
  4. Prepare the Frosting (Optional but Recommended!)

    • Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
    • Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
    • Spread over the cooled cake.

Serving Ideas:

  • Garnish with toasted coconut or chopped macadamia nuts for extra tropical flavor!
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
