Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup (180ml) warm milk (not too hot, about 110°F/45°C)
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
For the Filling:
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup (50g) chopped nuts (optional)
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- ½ cup (120g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- Knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour (until doubled in size).

- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick).
