  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef Mixture:

    • Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped onions, and sauté until soft.
    • Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned.
    • Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and beef broth.
    • Let simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Assemble the Casserole:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • In a baking dish, spread half of the cooked rice as the first layer.
    • Add a layer of the beef mixture.
    • Repeat with the remaining rice and top with the rest of the beef mixture.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  3. Bake:

    • Bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  4. Serve:

    • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
