Soft & Fluffy Chocolate-Filled Bombs
These chocolate-filled bombs are soft, fluffy, and absolutely irresistible! Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- ¾ cup (180ml) warm milk (not too hot)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg
For the Filling:
- ½ cup chocolate chips (or chocolate spread)
For Topping:
- 1 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Make the Dough – In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add melted butter, egg, flour, and salt. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Shape the Bombs – Divide dough into 10-12 pieces. Flatten each piece, add a teaspoon of chocolate in the center, and seal into a ball.
- Second Rise – Place balls on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for 20-30 minutes.
- Bake – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish & Serve – Brush with melted butter and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm!
