Recipe for a Delicious Coconut Dessert

 








If you love coconut, here’s a simple and delicious coconut dessert recipe: Coconut Cream Pudding! It’s rich, creamy, and easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (500ml) coconut milk
  • ¼ cup (50g) sugar (or honey)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (or arrowroot powder)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup shredded coconut (toasted for extra flavor)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of coconut milk to create a smooth slurry.
  2. Heat the Milk: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the remaining coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Thicken the Pudding: Slowly add the cornstarch mixture while stirring. Continue stirring until the pudding thickens (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add Flavor: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and toasted shredded coconut.
  5. Chill & Serve: Pour into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled with extra toasted coconut on top.

Variations:

  • Add mango or pineapple for a tropical twist.
  • Use coconut cream instead of milk for an extra rich texture.
  • Top with dark chocolate shavings for a chocolate-coconut combo.
