Making homemade bread in an air fryer is quick and easy! Here’s a simple recipe for soft, fluffy bread:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk (or water)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
Instructions:
- Activate the Yeast: If using active dry yeast, mix it with warm milk and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. If using instant yeast, you can mix it directly with the flour.
- Mix the Dough: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast mixture. Add olive oil or melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead: Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Shape & Second Rise: Punch down the dough, shape it into a ball or small rolls, and place it in a greased air fryer-safe pan or parchment paper. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. If needed, flip in the last few minutes for even browning.
- Cool & Serve: Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy fresh with butter or honey!
