Here’s a classic Fluffy Belgian Waffles recipe—crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside!
🥞 Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs (separated)
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
🥄 Instructions:
- Preheat the Waffle Maker – Get it nice and hot!
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Prepare the Wet Ingredients – In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Beat the Egg Whites – Using a hand mixer, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. This step makes the waffles extra fluffy!
- Combine the Batter – Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (don’t overmix). Then, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
- Cook the Waffles – Pour the batter into your waffle maker and cook according to its instructions until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve & Enjoy – Top with butter, maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream!
