Classic Ham Salad Recipe 🥪
A creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet ham salad, perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or wraps!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped (leftover ham works great!)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)
- 1 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish (or chopped dill pickles for a tangy twist)
- 1/4 cup celery, finely diced
- 2 tbsp red onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions:
- Chop the ham – Use a food processor for a finer texture or a knife for chunkier salad.
- Mix everything – In a bowl, combine chopped ham, mayo, mustard, relish, celery, onion, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
- Chill for 15-30 minutes – This helps the flavors meld together.
- Serve – Spread on bread for a sandwich, scoop onto crackers, or serve in lettuce wraps!
