Total Time:25 mins
Servings:3
Ingredients:
- 1 lb 85% lean ground beef
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Montreal-style steak seasoning
- 2 tbsp softened butter, or as needed
- 6 slices white bread
- 6 slices Colby-Jack cheese
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, parsley, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and steak seasoning. Mix until thoroughly combined. Shape into three equal patties.
2. Heat a nonstick griddle over medium heat. Cook patties until desired doneness, 4 to 6 minutes per side, ensuring internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C). Remove from griddle and set aside.
3. Warm a second griddle over medium heat. Butter one side of each bread slice. Place half of the bread slices on the griddle, buttered-side down. Top each with a slice of cheese, a burger patty, and another slice of cheese. Finish with the remaining bread slices, buttered-side up.
4. Cook until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted, about 6 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook’s Note:
Customise with your favorite cheese and bread combinations to suit your taste preferences.
